PICFIT TIPS

Stepping On the Scales

Well, today is the day those of you that started with us on January 2nd should be stepping on the scale.

There was one comment on the site this week about not weighing yourself every day because it was discouraging and I totally agree.

If you are working to lose weight, you should only weigh in once a week. Guaranteed if you really have been working at it this week, either you should have lose weight or centimeters or both.

If your goal as part of this site was simply to eat healthier and/or be more aware of your fitness goals and you don't need to lose weight, then you should feel good about your goals as a result.

If you are on a weight loss journey, then if this is your first week, you may or may not have lost weight if you kept on track, you should have lost something. In the end, if you are heavy, you need to lose weight but don't be discouraged and quit if you don't.

If you know you have been working hard at it, chances are you have gained muscle which weighs more but ultimately that muscle will help to disolve body fat that much faster.
