Oatmeal is a wonderful food.. tons of fibre, vitamins, it controls blood glucose levels, can lower blood pressure and more. Oatmeal deters the production of starch in your body too. It also helps you to feel full longer.. because of the fibre and water, it digests more slowly leaving feel satisfied longer. If you don't like eating a bowl of oatmeal, there are lots of other ways to get your oats by putting them some awesome recipes. If you eat instant oatmeal.. be cautious of the amount of sugar or what all goes into those little instant packages.. and check for additives. It is quick to make up a bowl too.. so if you are on the run.. what a great get up and go breakfast.
And just when you thought that it was just for eating.. guess what.. it is also good for you on the outside.
