Dairy Products - Do they Help You Lose Weight?
I have read many articles in the past that tell you that dairy products will help you lose weight and wondered if this were really true so I went on a bit of a search for the light at the end of this milky tunnel.
It turns out that the jury is still out on this one, BUT, at the same time, all good balanced diets include low fat dairy in their plans for healthy weight loss. And lets' face it.. if the choice came down to whether you were going to have a big piece of chocolate cake you were looking at or a glass of lowfat chocolate milk.. the milk wins hands down!
Drinking a full glass of milk before a meal also helps you to eat less as it fills up a space and curbs your hunger pangs.
It is recommended that we have 3 glasses of milk a day for a balanced diet.
So common sense tells me that it is ok to enjoy my dairy products as long as they are low in fat and within reason but here are some articles to refer to along the way... you can draw your own conclusions.
